Member referrals: rewards as credit on the next invoice

Your members know people who need an office. A referral program gives each member a personal link to share. When a friend they sent joins and pays, the member earns a reward, which you approve, and it comes off their next invoice as a line called Referral credit. No cash changes hands.

Open Referrals under COMMUNITY in the left menu, or More → Referrals on the phone. Super Admins and Staff approve or reject rewards; Admin viewers can look; guest viewers do not see it. Only a Super Admin sees Settings. Staff limited to some centres see the referrers at their centres only.

Turn it on and set the reward

1. Open Referrals → Settings and tick Referral program is on.
2. Under Reward for the member who refers, choose Fixed amount (₹1,000 unless you change it, up to ₹1,00,000) or % of first invoice, with Most a single reward can be (₹).
3. If you want the friend to get something too, set Welcome discount for the friend. Leave it at 0 for none.
4. Add Extra terms if you have any, check the terms shown below, and press Save.

The terms a friend saw when they sent their details are kept with that referral, so changing the settings later does not change what was promised to them. Turning the program off stops new links and new rewards; people already referred keep their terms.

What happens with a referral

• The member shares their link from the member app. The friend opens it, sees who invited them, and fills in name, mobile number, an optional email and what they are looking for, then presses Send my details.
• The friend becomes a lead in Prospects, with Referred by and the member's name under it. Follow it up as usual.
• If that phone number is already a lead, a member, or was already referred, no new lead is made and no reward will come from it. The friend sees the same thank-you either way. Referring yourself does not count.
• When the lead is marked onboarded, the referral shows as Joined. When the friend has paid their first invoice in full, a reward appears under Rewards as To approve. Only bills from the month of the referral onward count, so an old record that comes back does not earn a reward for its past bills.
• Nothing in this feature sends a message to anyone. Members share the link themselves.

Approve or reject

The Rewards tab lists each reward with the member, the friend and the amount, pending ones first. Press Approve, or Reject and give a reason. The four figures at the top show what is To approve, Approved so far, Credit waiting for invoices and what has been Taken off invoices. The Referrals tab lists every friend referred, who referred them, and their status.

How the credit is used

• Approved credit comes off the member's next invoice made by the Billing autopilot, as its own line, Referral credit. The total, the payment link, reminders and the member app all show the amount after the credit.
• An invoice never goes below ₹1, so it can always be paid. Credit left over carries to the next invoice.
• If an invoice that took referral credit is deleted, the credit goes back to the member's balance.
• Invoices your team raises by hand do not take the credit yet; it waits for the next autopilot invoice.
• Referral credit is separate from Wallet credits. It is in rupees and only ever reduces an invoice.
