Events, perks, the board, directory and surveys in the member app

Open Account (the More tab) in your member app. Below your details you will find Events, Perks, Member directory and Board. Your Home screen also shows a Next event card when there is one in the next 14 days, and New on the board with the latest two posts from the past week.

Events

1. Tap Events. Upcoming events at your centre are listed soonest first, with the date, time and where.
2. Tap Going or Can't go. You can change your answer any time until the event starts.
3. If an event shows Full, every seat is taken. Check back; a seat opens if someone drops out.

You get a notification when a new event is published and if one you were going to is cancelled. Past events disappear after they end.

Perks

Tap Perks for offers your space has arranged with partners nearby. Tap one to see the details and how to claim it: a code to use, or an instruction like showing your member app at the counter. Offers with an end date drop off the list after it.

Board

The board is where members of your space ask for help, offer their services, share jobs and leads, buy and sell, or just say hello.

• Post: pick a topic (Ask for help, Offering services, Jobs & leads, Buy / sell, General), a title and the text. Tick just my centre if it only concerns your building. Up to 3 links a post, plain text only.
• Reply under any post, and mark a post or reply Helpful.
• Edit or delete your own post or reply within 24 hours.
• You get a notification when someone replies to your post or to a thread you replied in. Mute a post to stop that.
• See something wrong? Report it as spam, offensive, a scam or other. Staff review it.
• Use the topic chips and search to find things. Pinned posts from the space team sit at the top.

Member directory

The directory is off until you turn it on. In Account, switch on Show me in the member directory, add a one-line what I do and a website or LinkedIn link if you like, and tick phone and email only if you want them shown. Then tap Member directory to browse and search other listed members of your space. Switch it off at any time and you disappear from the list at once. There are no direct messages in the app; use the contact details the other person chose to share.

Surveys

Now and then your space asks a quick question: a card at the top of Home and a notification such as Quick question from {space} · 1 min, or an email with a button. It takes under a minute, one question per screen. The first screen shows Answering as your name and cabin, because {space} sees your name and cabin with your answers. Prefer not to be asked? Turn surveys off in Account → Notifications.
